    Right? I’ve been using it to mean, “acknowledged”, for years now. My kids told me just the other day that their group does not, and that they have to remind themselves I’m not being sarcastic when I send it. I have reached “that” age, it would appear.

      Me too. Glad to be here. Why the fuck does anyone care that children apply nonsensical meaning to emojis? People actually waste time thinking about this? If a teenager told me there was something wrong with using the thumbs up emoji I would laugh at them, give a sarcastic OK, and move along.
