That’s the shape those early phones had. The back was curved until the iPhone 4. Now they are all flat backed.

Clent@lemmy.worldto Mildly Infuriating@lemmy.world•How is this Amazon ad anything BUT a trick to get a 7 year old child to get their mitts on dad's phone and charge his credit card $13K in two clicks?English1222·6 months agoTell me you don’t have children without telling me you don’t have children.
Sometimes fixes require sacrifice which is the dilemma presented by the meme.
The way I read it then is that there is no optimistic side for left since that’s the “do nothing” choice and the “take action” choice is the right side.
That should be “risk spending life in prison” – best to stay optimistic when making long term life plans.

This is not inherently true. There situations where trying without giving your best leads to a worse situation.
If you want to focus on only self-improvement then you may have a point.
It can vary but being needed is a common one. The feeling that they are helping hold the NPD’s life together.
There is also a reason this person is willing to put up with it. A neurotypical doesn’t trying to understand and forgive the behavior, they just find other neurotypical people to hang out with.
Orbiters of a narcissists, fuel the disease and gain their own validation by being someone else’s fuel. That doesn’t make it healthy.
Or are willing to acknowledge.

I have not heard any credible source make this claim. This sounds like 4D chess nonsense. He clearly did not want to own Twitter and didn’t know what to do with it either once he did and still had no clue how to use it.
Whatever responsibility can be placed on Twitter it would be them deplatforming him, allowing voters to forget how insane he is. This occurred prior to his purchase.
Rather than attempting to lay the blame for trumps second election on platforms, we need to come to terms with accepting that this is the direction that the majority of American’s wanted. This includes those who did not vote, since their apathy allowed Trump to win.
A plurality of Americans are very very dumb. The entire world knows this. We pretend they just don’t get us, know us, etc but we cannot ignore the reality exposed by these election outcomes.
At least we’ve established that you enable racists.
Clent@lemmy.worldto Technology@lemmy.world•Elon Musk hides X engagement figures amid user exodusEnglish102·7 months agoThat’s part of the joy, he bought the plot and still managed to lose the plot so quickly it’s easy to argue he never had it to begin with.
He paid billions to play himself.
Is that the situation here? It is not.
Everyone wanting to give the benefit of the doubt here gives racists room to exist.
I supposed you just don’t find anything racist
I am arguing the exact opposite.
Where’s the leverage if it’s a performance?
Ok. What’s yours?
I don’t see how someone could do a racist rant and not be racist. That it is a rant is an important word here.

The first tab is the home tab and the first few rows are from my library. I don’t see any option to hide the random noise that comes after it.
The second tab is the library itself which has the normal rows of various groups, continue watching, recently released, etc.
There is also a tab for live tv, on demand and discover.
I’ll probably only use discover because I use the watch list as one of many ways to feed my wanted lists.
Just Ask Jeeves.
