1·2 months agoWell a cut is a very specific case of a wound. You could for example get a laceration without being cut. Or you get a nosebleeding from dry air or you could get an aneurysm and get internal bleeding
Hm I kind of don’t understand your MMORPG experience. I have never played eso so I can’t comment on that but for example gw2 has basically none of these problems. I can understand for example in FFXIV when you play dps and quene for specific dungeons or raids alone that waiting doesn’t feel nice but at the same time you can do other activities while waiting. If you play a healer or support this problem is normally mute

Games@lemmy.world•‘This shouldn’t be normal’: developers speak out about bigotry on Steam, the world’s biggest PC gaming storefrontEnglish
1·2 months agoNo this is the exact exception from it “there are reviews which have stuff about the developer in it we should not allow it”
“Do you think the same when a developer is a fascist”
This is literally not whataboutism. The comments they want to have removed are not hateful. Because the hateful ones where removed. “The developer made fun of the death of Charlie Kirk” is not a hateful comment just a fact. Just because that fact does not matter to you or me does not make it less of a fact. “This developer is a fascist” is more hateful then the stated review above.
To be even more strict you yourself have indirectly commented on this being political
it makes very specific examples (with links) to specific games that have received negative reviews for things unrelated to the game at hand, such as antisemitism and political
So it is not whataboutism to point to other political things where steam reviews are also political and ask about them. The correct answer from you to stay in line with your argument would have to be also these, but you don’t want to do that.

13·2 months agoThat’s not whataboutism because it is a related question. You can’t make a global rule dependent on taste so if you are against these you have to be against someone being outed as fachist too. Either you allow reviews about the developer or you don’t

Mildly Infuriating@lemmy.world•Judge blocks Colorado law requiring health warning on gas stoves. He says there is no evidence that gas stoves cause or contribute to health issuesEnglish
32·3 months agoHaving a gas stove myself I can tell you there are only 2 temperatures to hot and way to hot. There is no low and medium so what you will end up doing is cycling the heat in and off yourself all the time.
Further there are many different electric stoves. From the old just an electric heater over infrared based to induction based. Due to having a lot of different homes in my life I have cooked with everything and all electric stoves are way easier and maintain heat way better than a gas stove and you can have low and medium heat.
