Honestly though, while its forced me to change my style of skating, I enjoy it as much now as I ever have. Learning new tricks, getting a solid whole body work out, meeting and hanging out with new people, it’s all still there.

47 and I still try to get out to a skatepark at least twice a week.

No idea how long I’m going to be able to do it, but I’m going to make every session count.

I don’t use an e-reader, but I found a long time ago I prefer audio books to physical books.

Its purely a comfort thing. I can read a lot faster than any audio book, but I just have a hard time finding a comfortable position to read a real book.

Also the added benifit of listening in the car, while working, or falling alseep.

The only times I find myself with a physical book is reading technical things like textbooks, or when I’m on a plane.

Ok, true, but they don’t need to know that.

Cross through customs coming back from Mexico exhausted at early o’clock, my brother looks over at me all serious as says

“Hey, quick, look shify!”

I hardly have enough to to process what he said before I’m standing in front of a border patrol agent think “How the hell am I supposed to not look shifty, great, I’m sure now I do”.

Every single time I go through a security check point now I hear my brothers voice in my head and I just know I look guilty of something.
