That’s the tradeoff, it’s bees /s
I’m afraid so…
I guess they want this law to fall back on in case an underage individual is presented with mature/inappropriate content. Then they can just say that you lied about your age and that is not their fault.
To my understanding, it’s also Meta that is lobbying for this. Basically pushing the responsibility elsewhere to the operating system vendors

I share this opinion. Both OS have their strength. Haven’t used Windows in a long time though. Don’t really know where to get it any more?
Hmmm… Do they? Cant find anything about it

“Don’t be like that guys, I want to make more money”
$10 a month and sporadic donations to projects I believe are making a difference

Using it from time to time and hosting a relay. Works and has been improving over the years imo

Give it a try and you most likely wont regret it. Linux has come a long way since the general statement what you want game on it. I purchased a Asus ROG laptop about a year ago and installed Manjaro Linux on it (spare the hate) and its been working flawlessly. With that said. I’m not a hard core gamer and been sticking to Steam and console emulation so others with more time to play games should flank in.

Not to mention your general health status to insurance companies. Bad health score? Worse insurance deal
Windows has it’s upsides imo. My personal problem is that I’m so bad at using it… Set static IP? Traverse down four different GUI applications all the way back to Windows NT -_-
Nostalgia intensifies
Same brother. Still using Reddit from time to time though but wouldn’t touch Xitter with even a pair of pliers.
It’s true that Lemmy doesn’t have the same magnitude of content as Reddit but I’m trying to cut down on the doom scrolling so it’s a good thing for me personally.
Been using Mastodon for about two years now and never going back.
I blame my current machine for this…
