callouscomic@lemmy.zipto Steam Deck@sopuli.xyz•What are you all using for game/library tracking, on Steamdeck?1·2 days agoI use custom categories for my games, both to categorized the style of game and also mark completed ones. You can add to multiple categories.
I also use the hell out of Steam Notes per game, which supports markdown by the way. I use it to note things I’ve played elsewhere, or unique notes about setting up a game to play, custom settings, or stuff to remember if I don’t come back to play for months or something.
They generally sync between my Deck and PC too.
I’m sorry but I’m certain you meant Michelle Rodriguez.

“U.S. government to implement 5,000% tax on new solar technology…”
Strawberry is super confusing with playlists. Out of caution, I have learned to save Playlists multiple times to a file and try to close them all before opening/playing new stuff.
Too many times I’ve experienced selecting something new to play not only replace the currently playing, but replaces the Playlist, and it seems to overwrite it immediately.

- V-Rally 4 is pretty smooth as well if you turn down settings a little bit. I love that it has a unique hill climb road in eastern Europe that Top Gear or Grand Tour covered. I don’t remember the name.
- Truck Racer is a fun ps3-era arcade style game.
I have yet to play them on Steam Deck, hut I’ve played these on other consoles and loved them:
- WRC 4
- FIA European Truck Racing Championship
- Wreckfest

It explored new ideas and did it well. As a long time AoE fan who played all of them since the first, AoE II is massively overhyped, and AoE III is unfairly shit on.
Also they were voluntold to do Halo Wars, and they did a good job on it. It’s a good game, and it did an excellent job on console with a controller scheme, which was impressive at the time.
Ensemble got shafted. They were held up at the time as the leaders of RTS and Microsoft didn’t give a fuck. Just used and abused.
AoE online was clearly executive suite demands. Of course it fucking sucked.

My best builds are black towers, great airflow, minimal lights, and barely any noise. I’m focused on the game, not the machine.
The thing needs to be forgotten. It’s not the center of attention. The monitor is.

I don’t understand people’s obsession with it. My giant screen at home looks and sounds better, I’m more comfortable, more relaxed, and can go at my pace.
Screw theaters. I haven’t been to one in like 15 years. Super not worth it and everyone I know IRL who goes mostly complains.
