Slovakia and hungary. Not sure how poland is doing these days, but there was an infamous news segment a few years ago that got international attention, because it was basically 5 minutes of simping for Andrzej Duda. Right before the elections.

I recognize the quality of work people in these institutions achieve. Not everything they put out is a political order, they still do decent journalism. It’s just that every now and then, you need to be aware of who controlls them. About what they say, or most importantly, what they don’t say when it comes to reporting on certain topics.

It might seem nice to have a funcioning “public” media, but all I see is a ticking time bomb, waiting for one bad election…

There doesn’t seem to be technical vision behind the proposal yet.

I know nothing about the game, but came here to see who’s offended by it, and by how much. Was not disapointed.

I’m confused by the pessimistic reactions, though.

Companies converging towards the semi-open platform is a good thing. The locked down hardware and exclusives are not something we as customers asked for. It was something the cartel just shoved down our throats.

What bothers me is the backwards compatibility that microsoft has always just hand-waved in regards to the sunsetting of the xbox HW. A clear yes or no would be nice.

A bit of unrequested advice… Help expand, or start a mesh network in your area. The SX1260 lora chips are a modern miracle. Plus, It’s basically hiking and socializing activity masked as a tech hobby. There’s also a chance of learning a little bit of physics, or community organizing as a bonus.

With the new people you meet, there’s also a chance of finding a new hobby. I’ve met an unexpected number of paraglidists through my various tech interests. People from all kinds of backgrounds are really into flying. Who knew?

I was sitting at the neurology office. As the doctor starts to scroll through the pictures of the inside of my head I see a huge blob. Well, this is it, I thought. It’s finally happening…

But then I remembered that scene from the Breaking Bad. These pictures can be decieving if you don’t know how to read them.
