The lie made into the rule of the world
That dissertation does not explain why capitalism requires population growth.
Rather it takes “capitalism requires positive economic growth” as an axiom, to argue that such growth can not persist.
Strauss when I want an uplifting distraction.
Capitalism requires a growing population.
How so?
Everybody knows what needs to be done.
I’m not convinced it’s as simple as you make it out to be, as places that experience more poverty and violence appear to have higher fertility rates (1).
Those quotes are saying the same thing: no dominating strategy emerges. Neither full defection, nor full cooperation. It oscillates.
That’s like saying poker is a solved game if you can view eachothers cards :D
I assumed it was obvious that it would remain a game where full knowledge of the game state is never granted to a participant. And the variant you proposed just added a communication channel.
That’s to say: it stays realistic.
If the prisoners can communicate, they will know that the other prisoner didn’t talk
They do not, as lying exists
only a dilemma when it is played in only one round.
There is no fixed solution for the repeated case:
in such a simulation, tit-for-tat will almost always come to dominate, though nasty strategies will drift in and out of the population because a tit-for-tat population is penetrable by non-retaliating nice strategies, which in turn are easy prey for the nasty strategies. Dawkins showed that here, no static mix of strategies forms a stable equilibrium, and the system will always oscillate between bounds
If you allow information to flow between them it’s literally not a dilemma any more.
That’s novel information. Where did you learn that?
Believe it or not, this is not a necessity of human nature. It’s just your society that’s fucked up.
Do you look at the prisoner’s dilemma and conclude that cooperation is the obvious answer?
Everyone should have access
They have, and choose not to.
You’ll find this in many places that people would rather blame the world en lieu of looking inward. It’s a sad thing, as the latter is where one has most effect.
There’s a forked ufw specifically to solve docker’s issues. (1)
But yes, docker + ufw is something to be carefull about.
UFW is an interface to a subset of iptables.
There’s things iptables can do that UFW can’t. Nothing that UFW does, is impossible to do with iptables.
By why might one use UFW I hear you wonder? Convenience.
If you already master the art of iptables, no reason to learn UFW instead.
If atheism is real than explain why there’s 7 days in a week?! 🤔
The ampersand means the parent program doesn’t have to wait for autostart.sh to finish. It is not part of the filename.
I’d happily throw my trash in that!
Speak for yourself
The argument is going round in circles, but never explains if nor why capitalism requires economic growth. Therefore it also does not explain if nor why it requires population growth.
