1·2 天前I’ve already been dipping my toe in the Linux water with my Steam Deck. If Windows gets so bad than even I am willing to go through the extra effort of completely switching to Linux, they’re doomed.

Just about all electronics older than a year or so have. Even a Switch, which came out 9 years ago, costs more to buy now than it did then!

2·3 天前We absolutely should, but previous experience suggests that people will just pay for the subs.
Some might, but others will probably make games with ridiculously high requirements so the only way most people can play them is via cloud-based subscription services.
Or that they’re drinking at all? Maybe they just like holding mugs!
The old ways are gone, possibly never to return in our lifetime. My PS5, Steam Deck, and mid-range 2021 PC will have to do for the foreseeable future.
So more acceptable in Europe?
