Then again, people need to learn not to keep their money on exchanges. That is a very poor security practice.

Again, centralized exchanges are like public toilets. Get in, do your business, and get the fuck out. This is a good argument against KYC as well, since if they don’t have data, they can’t leak data.
The headline is a gross overstatement. Sure, a UK law could stop Apple from leasing security updates in the UK, but not worldwide. That’s bullshit. Apple would very likely just tell the UK to fuck off.
Maybe kagi? I use it and like it
Not for long. They will soon be cut off for not upgrading.
2G is something i rarely think of.
I am enjoying it. Though it doesnt work on VoLTE when on LineageOS so i will not be able to call/text excrpt via wifi after April when 2G is shut down.
onePlus Nord N200
maybe because I don’t need a new phone and don’t see the need to upgrade every single damn year?
Monero does have a very small fee. I am not sure about Nano or the other as I don’t use them. However, I would not like a token thing for gated access like you mentioned primarily because tokens are issued on Ethereum and Ethereum is not private. Changing a username here on Lemmy is much easier than changing wallets.
Thats one of the few ways to fund something like this that cant be stopped
Monero for the donations and move the domain and instance to a host that accepts monero. Check out monerica.com to find some
Too bad I’m not on Twitter anymore. Otherwise, I would check some of these out.
Of course, they want to make it as complicated as possible so that people don’t actually do it.
Sad. Hopefully a little helicopter like this becomes standard equipment on missions.
Seriously, they just can’t catch a break. Can they?
I thought that was 121 point something, but couldn’t say for certain.
One thing they did not mention in the Firefox Android change log is that you can now enter IPv6 addresses directly into the address bar whereas before it would do a search.
I pay very little to no attention to the news at all and could honestly care less. And I feel as if I am better for it because I am not concerned about every little thing. Big news stories I will hear about through the grapevine, but the little things just pass me by and that’s okay.
I loved redreader, but nuked my account and content in protest and use Thunder for lemmy exclusively now. Before I used Mastodon and Reddit was the only corporate social media I used and now I use no corporate social media at all.
