Hello fellow privacy enthusiasts!
I created DiscordCleanse to ease out the message deletion in case you want to delete messages before deleting your account or for whatever reason your want to delete messages.
This program is similar to Undiscord but instead of relaying on Discord’s search API it gets the message IDs from Discord Data Package that you can request from Discord.
Also to note you have to have access to the channel you want to delete the messages from otherwise it won’t work.
Why is it better that Undiscord? I’ve never used Undiscord, I’m just curious
From my understanding, Discord Search API is heavily rate-limited. If you have a lot lot of messages (say, removing ALL of your message history in ALL servers) then this would theoretically be faster.
No reason to use this insead of Undiscord. Edit: Clear up missunderstanding.
But why?
But why?
I was talking reverse, sorry.
This would be cool if discord actually deleted any of your data
