Seems to be a Matrix client, for those, like me, who didn’t know
I thought twas a fork of Linux Mint Cinnamon. 😆
Wish there were some screenshots :/
Yep, plus a list of reasons why I might want to use it over other Matrix clients.
Web app version https://app.cinny.in/
Requires account and login. Lol.
They really should have linked the main page which does have a screenshot (and a few partials): https://cinny.in/
Oh no what will one do? You don’t have a matrix account? It was one tap for me to check out how it looks.
I ain’t making no account buttercup
??? The whole point of the client is to use it with your matrix account. If you don’t have an account this entire post should have been scrolled right by and ignored by you. Unless you were unaware of the app period, but either way, learn wtf you’re talking about and then reply.
The whole point was to see some screenshots, buttercup
DT coping and malding. (DistroTube made a video about how systrays are useless)
I like Cinny!
I wish they it had group calls support. I would use it instead of Element.
After I got the update, the first thing I did was look for the setting to disable the system tray icon 😅. Alas, there is no such setting, so I hid it using KDE’s controls, but it’s suboptimal…

Is there a way to update from within Cinny?
