    I did it no matter which program or game I had open. My dad always found something nasty to say about whatever I was doing.

    I do the most innocent and casual things on my computer and for whatever reason I always minimize all apps when my dad enters my room, probably because I don’t like comments, positive or not.

        My bedroom door as a teenager was just a curtain. The bathroom didn’t have anything in the doorway, and not even floors. Just plywood. It was interesting.

      I did not have a lock growing up. Even if I did, I could see my family forbidding using it for whatever dumb reason.

    Utilize virtual desktop/workspaces. Have a fake setup ready and then switch to it with: win + arrow keys, or on linux: alt + arrow keys

    In the ancient times, you’d click minimize and the image would slowly peel off of the screen. That was always so stressful.
