Other than disabling all animation in my browser (or setting it to play one time) in Firefox about:config, I can’t seem to figure out how to make these animated gifs stop. I personally find it incredibly annoying to see them in my home feed playing, playing, playing.
I’ve had a look to the HTML and the code is using the picture element, which based on what I can find has no attributes to control this (so I can’t hack it with something like uBlock filters). Maybe I missed something tho, advice appreciated.
Has anyone figured out some sort of hack to get these things to stop animating when they’re thumbnails (like in list view home page, etc.)?
