And even that guy was mostly just condescending as fuck instead of outright throwing insults. Everyone else is just the normal kind of argumentative that I am myself as well.
Yeah honestly the people at Lemmy are mostly great.
I think the difference is that the people on Lemmy seem in general to be smarter than other places, generally people actually seem to want to discuss rather than argue.

You just called me a terf, which I’m not, for absolutely no reason. So whereas I didn’t actually care before, I’m inclined to believe them now. None of the trans people I know throw around the term “terf” like that at literally anyone.
