This morning I woke up to the clock on my Pixel 7 lock screen being smaller than normal. I don’t recall changing anything and I could not find a setting to adjust the size. The clock on my wife’s and my son’s Pixel 7’s are both normal. Anybody know what would cause that? I’ve already tried restarting it as well as disabling and enabling the double-line clock setting.

It changes size randomly, and also slightly moves upwards and downwards from time to time to prevent burn-in. This is totally normal.

Is there any documentation about that because I’ve had this phone since December and this is the first time it has ever changed. I’ve been searching but I can’t find any mention of what you’re describing regarding Pixels.

EDIT: It’s back to normal now. It was caused by an update to the Google app beta.

An update was just released for the Google app (beta). After updating, the clock reverted to it’s normal size.

How do you have the shortcuts on the bottom of your lock screen?
