After about 8 hours in a multiplayer game with friends, got the first rocket up, and set up the first space-based platform.

It is much easier to build rockets now! I’m enjoying a lot of the quality of life features, we did bring in some mods which complicated things, even distribution is a little buggy, and I think led to some server crashes.

The new blueprint mechanics are excellent, I’m really glad they’re there. Lots of good quality of life

I’ve put in about 12 hrs so far and honestly the sheer amount of added qol is slightly overshadowing the dlc for me a little bit. The ease of it all feels so comfy. Feels like I can get so much more done in a fraction of the time

I’m about 5 hours in alone and fully automated everything up until bots. I don’t think I’m gonna leave my starter base alone after building my real base. Somehow, don’t ask me how, I build my starter base good enough to just build upon and upgrade it.

My goals for today are finding iron (because RN-Jesus is an asshole), building some kind of defence (my entire last hour yesterday was an reenactment of the Starship Troopers opening scene) and blasting my first rocket into orbit.

The QoL improvements are great. My favourite so far are the groups you can enable and disable for different requests from the logistics network. Also the interrupt option with trains will make things a lot easier as soon as the trains a running.
