Oh gosh it was utterly heartbreaking tossing out so many nuts. I just kept thinking back to my starving uni days where I would’ve cherished all that food and learnt to make so many things with it rather than let it go to waste. It’s a good wake up call to keep my dry food purchases over the next few months to a minimum

it’s a dreadful job but very necessary, I always feel so guilty at throwing out food, even when it’s expired
