Yep same. Something is clearly broken, or lemmy.ca has been owned like some other instances due to some emoji bug.
Looks like web works, but both Jerboa and Liftoff are broken.
Looks like it’s fixed after signing out/signing back in.
Logout, then log back in, it fixes it!
