The stakes of extraction shooters are great. Makes playing/engagement way more tense. Similar to the level of games like pubg or whatever, but id say more so.

Tarkov is hardcore as hell though. Takes it too far IMHO putting the right ammo in your gun is life or death. I look forward to someone finding the balance.
