“They’re preaching to the converted, and they’ll always stay at that 10% because they just talk to themselves,” Thorpe said.

Ironically the same could be said about Thorpe herself - she preaches to a sub-segment of the indigenous population who are already a small segment of the overall voters of Australia, and does everything she can to alienate the 98% of the population who aren’t already on her side.
