For decades, Idaho laws have allowed parents who belong to the Followers of Christ and other faith-healing sects to pray rather than seek medical care. Since 2015, at least 15 children have died of treatable conditions.
The sad thing is that as I understand it Idaho used to be that old school mind your own business libertarians, wherein they were kinda assholes but they had lines and standards. Oh im not denying that by any means Idaho is kinda a shithole, even if I do like the surplus warehouse in Idaho Falls. Frankly speaking I want to pull that state more than Utah since in Utahs case it’d just be genocide, in Idahos case it’d probably be closer to a humanitarian mission if you wiped out the cults and helped the kids.
