Which is beyond stupid. Why can’t I crush most of a six pack or case and leave one to scan the barcode? I also thought there were supposed to be vending machine type things at supermarkets. Certainly not local to me.
I can walk to one, but won’t want to with a bulky load of uncrushed tins. Will go head to head challenge with @CEOofmyhouse56@aussie.zone On jingly bins. Not doing that for a kilometre.

yeah none of the ones near me are at major transportation / foot traffic hubs
Me neither. It would make sense to have one in the carpark of First Choice Liquor imo.
Car park is my first recycling memory. Weird domes, glass only, split by colour. And no refund.
Shopping centre carpark. Cash 4 cans. My sister’s 18th. 1989. $3.30 pocket money.
meanwhile I’ve got three within walking distance - including outside a woolies

Ah tin cans. No challenge.
