VB is like the Vegemite of beers. If you weren’t raised on it as a kid, it’s basically unpalatable.
Don’t feel obligated to get there - I’m fully naturalised and I can’t stand the stuff. My first beer was XXXX. There are very valid reasons why we don’t drink those first beers again, they’re the cheapest at the bottle-o because they are awful.
Ha, don’t worry, it was all in jest - I’m much worse, I don’t even like beer at all and don’t drink much anyway so I’m pretty sure that precludes me from ever getting citizenship. 😆
My mum used to make sandwiches of it (albeit with fairly dry dal)! Also can use toast to scoop up dal instead. Toast is basically a holey second cousin of naan…
Nothing like having some hot fucken dal with fucken toast at TWENTY TO ONE IN THE FUCKEN’ MORNIN’
I really need to make sure I don’t loll around in bed til 12 this time lol. Feels like all I’ve done is bed -> bathroom -> work -> bathroom -> bed
A VB longneck is better
I haven’t fully naturalised yet, but I’ll get there.
