Couldn’t agree more. It’s visually distracting and a legitimate accessibility issue at its worst. It should always have an option to disable or at the very least reduce them.
There is a phone wide developer option to reduce animations. It’s one of the first things I enable cause it makes the experience less distracting and faster across the board.
There is nothing delightful about unnecessary animations on my phone.
animations are so pleasant. if you don’t like them turn them off in dev mode, don’t kill it for the rest of us
