Just updated to 0.0.38 (from 0.0.34 I think) and it is amazing. The addition of comment navigation buttons and the abbility to go back to home page by swiping right are just so pleasant. Thanks devs, with how great this app is developing I don’t think I would need to try the incoming reddit apps.
I came here to say this.
The latest 0.0.38 is so much more stable and fast.
The developers did a great job. I can’t imagine the amount of pressure they must be under right now with the Reddit exodus.
I kinda wish I could disable the swiping thing, I find it annoying
For me hitting the back button crashes the app. I am not used to swiping to get back out of a post. I end up crashing the app a lot.
Swipe to navigate is always annoying. Anyone who likes it should feel bad for liking something so bad
I so disagree but for some reason I find this comment incredibly funny
Yeah anyone taking my comment seriously has to reevaluate their life
You have a long way to work on your self-insight and compassion for others.
Dictators likely begin with such autocratic statements such as yours.
I’m on Liftoff right now. As someone that types very quickly, but not very accurately, the bug where if you use backspace to delete a lot of stuff, it will delete the space of the previous word, was very, very annoying, and still hasn’t been fixed (although I’m not sure if there’s any PRs to fix it). I’ve been trying a bunch of clients and most of them are at a very early stage. While I don’t like Liftoff’s Material You design, it’s still better than most.
Liftoff’s UI is pretty terrible but the functionality and the snappyness of it is absolutely the strong point.
Jerboa has been great, and I’m excited for the Boost app too. Might try Sync to see what the fuss is about
I am excited for Slide’s rise from the grave as well.
