Haha i knew i recognized that name! Thank you for your hard work. I hope we get to see lineageOS 21 on our shared phone.
Nice! Im very happy about the debian base!
Veloren is awesome! Its a lot of fun, but remember that it is pre-alpha!
Iirc, its also the case for skyrim on steam (though not sure which edition). So its not something new fot Bethesda.
Thats a great setup lol

Except for basically made-up edge cases and google integration (which you shouldnt use in the first place. Install a password manager), i havent seen anyone make a good case against Firefox. Googles anti-adblocking measures have made Chrome less safe and their current attempts to “DRM” the web points is absolutely devastating. If you use the Fediverse, its sensible to assume you care about a freer web. Google is working towards the exact opposite.
Oh wow. It gets worse with every sentence. “Crypto-colonialism” has to be the most terrifying new term ive learned this week.
Not yet. Artemis is seems to be in closed beta for now (?).
I understood this comment chain but im so sorry for everyone that is new to the fediverse and has absolutely no clue what is going on lmao
My best guess would have been that they mean Ubuntu, since thats what companies usually use in tutorials/develop for. But since they also want to include the steam deck, they must also mean arch. With Arch and Debian (probably) covered, im not too worried about compatibility.
Im guessing its related to recent Red Hat antics.
Trilium is great as well
I was expecting you to call yourself a sentient multi-zettaflop quantum frame or something.
As a 70-qubit quantum computer
Its cool to see that lemmy/kbin have such a diverse user base
Oof, sorry to be the deliverer of bad news. In another thread someone suggested to reach out to the developers and ask them about the future of Linux. I couldnt really find any place to reach out though, so if you have already bought the game, you could check whether the credits might mention contact details. Having already bought the game is obviously a better foot to stand on as well, so that might help the argument.
Havent read anything from Heinlein (yet) (will join anyways) but i wanted to say its incredibly cute how you two found each other over time and platforms.
