The more rules, the more AI the text becomes. So I expect a scientific text with very rigit rules in how to write is practically indistinguishable from an AI text, if written good. So tue expected value is 50% AI or human, if the text is well written. Either the AI got less rules (making it more AI) or humans make mistakes. Either way, a perfectly written text will land at 50% chance.

In happened already since years. We already cannot differentiate between true fact and fake news. Even papers are faked today by companies. Let’s say tabbacco research or pesticide research for example is overthrown by a big bunch of sub-tabbacco company papers that seem totally true but are inherently false, so you can’t tell the signal from noise anymore.

I want a digital licensed copy. I mean for movies it would be extremely cool, if we could have a drive, where you could download bought movies on but not copy off of. Then you would own a copy on this drive to be watched. Maybe you could even exchange titles from drive to drive but it is encrypted with its own operating system, so that you cannot copy it off of the drive only move it from licensed drive to licensed drive, if there is an exchange interest. By that I don’t have unnecessary bulky DVDs or CDs but at the same time an owned copy that could last endlessly… but companies prefer people to log in and stream or have a game only through the steam log in…

In that case don’t go with the masses. It’s a human weakness to do so and is the reason why political votes often land one side heavy although this would not be democratic in the end. This is also the reason why democratic votes are anonymised to prevent this natural human behaviour of going with the masses but it does not work wither to prevent it.

I’m german and we have similar developments towards authoritarian politics. If I show my dad anything surrounding AfDs (german extremely right winged party) nazi propaganda, he copes it with saying that it is fake news. Anything that is not his view is definitely fake news.

There is always distrust and something to die for. Let’s take your friends and family? What if someone kills your partner either just for fun (which does happen) or because of a differing morale. What now? Can you still trust people for this not happening again?

Don’t get me wrong, I am also hoping for a better, freeer and more trustworthy world. More peace and such but you cannot expect this just from simplification.
