  • Hopefully, if too many aren’t too strongly indoctrinated and identified with the team against unions and better worker benefits. Workers in other countries have benefits at all jobs, and they would never go back to the lack of benefits that usa workers accept. Workers here like to feel special that they have a job with “good benefits” that others don’t have so they prefer that. It’s part of the “pioneer, cowboy, self-made” story, but in reality it’s the same selfish and greed that runs deep and they’re proud of it.

  • Exactly, if the owners paid enough wages then people would make too much to qualify for the public assistance and would be happier and healthier. That’s what controlling systems don’t want, gotta keep the majority in scarcity mode so they keep making bad choices from stressed brain, can’t use prefrontal cortex as much which critical thinking requires.

Edit: higher wages also increases the tax base to help pay for all the things we should have, like all the other rich countries have figured out how to do.

  • Nothing wrong with using llms in useful ways, as long as they keep giving factual and unbiased information. Or you can look up stuff online and verify in a book at the library, although that could be outdated too, hmm. Unfortunately I noticed they do more of the “both sides have good points” (Perry’s scheme level 3 of 9), even when it’s a lopsided topic. We need impartial ratings somehow to show how biased the various models become and people will stay in the ones they like, or not use them or other ways to learn.

Locked into the low-level, high-control systems, they won’t learn how unhealthy they are and how to do better with freedom and equality, like it’s always been, just updated with the tech. Ask llms to use Sagan’s baloney detection kit and Perry’s highest thinking levels to analyze problems, with the main goal of how to help humanity, the environment, etc. that benefits the majority and minimizes damage. Try to make the llm work in favor of humanity rather than the owners’ greed.

Develop ego awareness, notice when it reacts with upset to new information, and choose to learn anyway. As you recognize the unhealthy indoctrination you absorbed, use that anger to break free from high-control systems, guided by the truth that sets you free. Then learn to manage the cognitive dissonance and the inner resistance that clings to the old beliefs once you’ve woken up to the truth. Good luck!

  • Quite a campaign to quietly install these all over the country, use free pilot programs, kept the cost low enough to not need city council vote after public discussions and hide in tech costs, so the fuss happens after they wasted all this money. Talk about fraud and scamming the public out of tax money, and used against the public and w/o our actual consent. They’re supposed to serve and work for We The People, but used multiple methods to lie and hide it from us. Doing the wrong thing has to be hidden, not honest things.

  • More info: The “frazzled” state you describe is literally chronic cortisol dysregulation — the body’s stress response stuck on. Research confirms this drives insulin resistance, visceral fat accumulation, arterial stiffness, immune suppression, gut dysbiosis, and prefrontal cortex damage (impaired planning, impulse control). When someone says “I just can’t get my health together,” the framework gives them a different explanation: you’re running a fight-or-flight response 16 hours a day because the system is designed to keep you in survival mode. That reframe reduces shame and opens the door to action.

  • Hoarding wasn’t allowed at one time, in <150 person groups, then came the ever increasing wealth and power inequalities, and the supernatural stories to justify their power, justify the suffering now for later reward and easier than brute force. It’s the same systems and people protecting their wealth and keep the majority in artificial scarcity, so they feel frazzled and not much time to ponder these truths, and decide how they want to go forward, keep the indoctrination of the systems or pull back the curtain?

  • Despite this massive investment, the U.S. ranks last overall in health system performance when compared to nine other high-income nations.

Healthcare has gotten worse under maga, along with democracy/freedom/quality measures. Look up the data. The same patterns are visible in other failing countries like Russia, Argentina, and in history too we can see it, yet they say they need to be more strict to fix the problems their bad ways created. High-control systems are the wrong answer if we want healthy progress for humanity first. The wealthy/powerful have benefitted from the systems for so long, if you really look at history, when the wealth/power inequality began, along with supernatural excuses they invented to keep the power.
