I am debating if I wanted to try a second time around with the onions, but maybe try more Egyptian Walking Onions instead of traditional white onions; however, I also have debated if I wanted to just switch to the next in the set for crop rotations. I have decided that next year I am going to attempt crop rotations with my four major sub-sections, being two sets of pots, and two raised beds.

I do not have pictures right now, but my plants are doing better. A few more of my peppers in my larger pots are beginning to fruit with more flowers, and a few tomatoes are beginning as well. I feared that my watermelons were dying, but they are back to life and flourishing right now. With my beds themselves, two of my three tomatoes in the beds are doing alright with one doing better than the other, while the middle tomato plant is dead as dirt for some reason. Similarly my onion bed did not survive the storming we had a week or two ago. Sadly I am going to need to figure out the plan there. My indoor tomatoes and indoor onions though are doing very well!

There are some campaigns where I will make it where a race would not exist because of lore or history reasons, such as Yuan-ti all being sealed and banished away for example.

I wish it would be possible, but the amount of work to convert would make it more difficult than not. Honestly, I would love to see more community centers made from the abandoned malls at least as a starting point, and then go from there.

Yep! they are also good because they are a deep root watering too! I used the ollas last years for my dynamite peppers and banana peppers, and they were wonderful honestly.

Honestly, one thing to look at would be using ollas, or terracotta pots that irrigate the plants for you. It is an easy way to once to twice a week water your plants. I use it almost exclusively in my gardens because my work schedule is too hectic sometimes for daily watering, plus it is much more effective in deep-root watering.

Getting the last set of pots this weekend, got large terracotta ones that I am going to be having ollas in with some container style tomatoes and peppers. Maximizing space without necessarily building more raised beds as I don’t have the stuff for that, right now. Waiting on one of the local stores to get plants started for selling so that I can transplant them into my garden beds. Going to try okra this year! Determined to see how it works!

I got my tomato seeds for my various types I am going to be growing, and then also am going to attempt growing okra! I also got my classic herbs, some peppers, some onions, and garlics too.

Starting indoors then will transfer as necessary.

2 hours for the city to city yeah. It is closer to 3 and a half hours for those of us who are in the more rural communities.

It could make for an interesting theory. I will be honest, the thing that always stuck out to me about the Illithid is the fact that we have not seen what a natural born one looks like. The race as a whole are the creations from other races through a parasite, just like with the Xenomorph XX121. That makes a lot of question there for what they actually are.

Maybe in the future one of the two Gith races had developed a method to enrich the psionic potential of their race through an astral entity, or something of the far realm. That became the first Illithid.

(While I am aware that animate dead specifically says humanoid, I had asked and my DM had permitted it, and also you are writing a story like you said so it works). Your master chef uses one of those old styled seasoning wands, a little cannister on a handle that you dust the special bone dust and seasoning that your magical craft is fueled by, forming the entity.

If you want to purely have it be D&D related, the Abyssal Chicken familiar would be perfect as the familiar of choice, tasting like a chicken but having the truly delectable presence of the Hellish realms behind it’s beak. Truly a master chef’s ultimate familiar signifying the willingness to dive to the harshest worlds for the best ingredients.

For some fun flavoring of spells, Toll the Dead as a cantrip, but it is the dinner bell being heard that echoes into the soul, reminding them that they are the meal tonight. The trusty cleaver brought out and cooked with the burning green fire to cook the meat as it carves it from the bone, a beautiful flavor! False Life is powered by alcohol, the seasoning that you spritz over the meal that empowers you with the strength to go further on. A dried pepper is brought out and added to the delectable meal as you breathe Dragon’s Breath, applying a dragon’s touch to the meal. Want to ask the dead how they want to be cooked? Sprinkle some of your graveyard dirt and basil blend before igniting it, letting the lovely aroma that only the dead can bring flavor the corpse as they can speak what they want to be cooked as for your people. Perhaps you want to make a creature be dead before preparing the feast, so that in the middle it returns to life before dying once more, letting the fear of sudden death add that delicious final seasoning, a truly delectable final meal! And of course, if worst comes to worst, feel free to grab your trusty chicken’s heart you keep on hand for adding that bit of flavor of dinosaur blood, and bring a nightmarish fear of being cooked poorly to these wretched souls who dare get in the way of your meal.

I would personally enjoy seeing some more improvement being made for transport by train in my state, that being said though, I would be happier if BNSF would be able to incorporate transport of people too someday instead of just carting coal everywhere.

Now this is interesting, I have been using terracotta pots formed to function like old styled ollas for my plants and have been loving them this year thus far.
