We all know the answer because honest self-reflection & shitty people are virtually mutually exclusive mentalities.

May they continue to be forced to play hopscotch with their home.

Honestly? Same. Although supposedly Google added the ability recently to share them to other devices, the fact you couldn’t easily (if at all - I didn’t bother researching that much) do so before rang some alarm bells for me. Considering how dependent upon Google’s known capriciousness using them would make me, I’ve also declined to use them thus far. That’s why I made fun of them with the “kewl keeds” comment.
By Musk & Bezos alone.
Aincha heard? All the kewl keeds are using passkeys nowadays. Whatcha gonna do wit’ that part o’ yer brain now?
Thx for the explainer - I have some research to do.
I’m not sure what that last part means, but TY.
I don’t ever want to have to set up my PC again. Will Tumbleweed be good to accomplish this for a user used to Windows?
GFY & grow up. Then hope you never become homeless. Consider yourself blocked.
Speaking from experience? How’d it go?
Not in my experience, but again that was quite some time ago - I think it was Android 6 the last time I did it.
ETA: although now that I think about it, it was technically done in an “unsafe” manner by exploiting vulnerabilities. For the more safety-concerned, maybe a wipe was preferred.
That’s how the big bucks are made.
The article implies simply rooting will do - something I haven’t done in quite a while, but last I knew didn’t involve wiping your existing setup.
Well, that’s quite an insulting assumption of how our relationship stood. Even if he wasn’t into me as you not so subtly imply, he was most definitely into my spouse & the reaction was the same.
Maybe - just maybe - it’s possible some are different than others?
Nah.
My thinking is that he was getting the socialization with other cats at my aunt’s that he didn’t have as a solo cat in our home.
You’re one up on me. Many years ago, I was in a situation for a while where I had to home my cat at the time with my aunt who was a bit of a “crazy cat lady.” When I came to visit a few months later, he didn’t really react to my presence at all.
That’s the thing, tho - I could take them, and after a getting to know each other period they’d likely be fine with me. There’s no real loyalty as long as they get what they want. Dogs might adapt, but if they see their original human love even after a year or more, they’re dumping your ass for that person.
Love 'em (got 2), but they’re just not quite as attached to their humans as dogs tend to be.
A little?!? It directly points the finger where it belongs this time. Would love to know the behind the scenes machinations at NPR regarding how headlines get chosen & then edited.
I’m sure they only do that when they think they can use it to market themselves later. Given the number of complaints he seems to have received, they may just avoid the whole thing for fear of drawing more attention to all the ways they’re failing their base.
That’s hair? Thought it was a “do rag.”
