How dare you say Debian is the best distro! I use it on my work computer and it’s very stable (despite the fact that the flatpak of Ferdium mysteriously stopped working). Clearly the best distro is Manjaro, which I use on my gaming laptop.
Or it serves as a way to dissipate the smoke smell when breathing out. In my college days, we called it a “sploof.”
I’m surprised that no one has commented on this. This is great news! It’ll be a couple of years before I build a new desktop, but I’m already looking forward to using an AMD graphics card for the first time in over a decade.
Before I watched the GIF, I was thinking “I bet this is in Turkey.” Pretty sure I’m right.
Your son has ice in his veins. I’m very impressed.
I remember the first time I soloed Lavos with Chrono. Helluva great feeling.
The issue I had with my Asus ROG laptop was that EndeavourOS didn’t support the volume buttons on the keyboard, along with some other keys. It was annoying enough that I went to Manjaro.
I tried EndeavourOS, but it didn’t fully support my hardware like Manjaro does
I used to use Fedora on my Asus gaming laptop, and loved it. More recently I’ve chosen to switch over to Manjaro, because I wanted something based on Arch that was more lightweight than Garuda. Gotta love that Linux life.
I had a much better experience with Manjaro over EndeavourOS because it supported more of my hardware, but to be fair I’m using an Asus gaming laptop. When I build my next desktop, I’m gonna try a straight Arch install.
I can hear both of these quotes so clearly. I’m sad about what Blizzard has become.
To be fair, the plague in Hebrew (Egyptian?) is צפרדע /tz’fardei’ah, which looks like a singular and not a plural. I totally see where he’s coming from. But also, I thought it was in Midrash Tanchuma.
חג פסח שמח!
What the hell, calculators with color screens? Back in my day our graphing calculators were black and gray and we were told to be happy, damn it.
EndeavorOS might also be a good option, from what I’ve heard. It’s Arch based, but easier to install and use. I recently switched to Garuda, also Arch based, but focused more on the gaming community.
I did select a number of programs to install during setup so I had everything I needed. Spot on!
That’s really cool! Didn’t know that. Thanks for sharing, since I’ve just subscribed to the community.
Sorry about that. I’ll keep that in mind if this gets taken down. Thanks!
I’ve been using those on my Fedora install without a hitch. I think I’m gonna go for the Garuda install today after I finish backing things up. Excited!
I hate to burst your bubble there, but actually it’s the exact opposite. Abraham hears what God is going to do to Sodom and Gomorrah (and that’s only because God chooses to tell him), and thinks to himself, “Oh shit, my cousin is there. I don’t want him to die.”
So Abraham starts out small. He says, “if I can find 50 good people, you won’t murderhobo everyone?” “Fine,” God replies. Now Abraham has something he can work with. He tries 45, God says cool. Abraham gets God to agree on 40, 30, 20, 10, each time God agrees. At 10, God up and leaves, and Abraham just chills there.
But of course, they can’t find even 10 in those cities. Oh well
