Most revolutions in the long term are ultimately a good thing.

You don’t get revolutions with out things being very very bad, so any change is almost always good.

Even if it takes a few attempts and misteps on a long enough time scale you would be hard pressed to find any revolution that was truly bad.

The entire reason revolutions are considered bad is because to get there and the process of is so insanely destructive.

With sufficient money literally nothing is too expensive. This is a singular universal truth of money. No matter it’s form.

Be it currency, power, influence, territory or goods. With enough all things are with in reach.

It’s why fundamentally no matter what form of economics humans or animals have had in all of history. The more you have the better.

It’s all systems but only for vulkan. So outside of Linux it’s not used much since most windows games are direct X not Vulkan.

And even then some games use both so while you have the Vulkan shaders you still may need to compile direct X shaders.

Technically it’s everything it’s any steam game. It’s a community resource.

It doesn’t always work, sometimes it makes things worse, some times it helps.

It’s a real crap shoot.

And if you play a lot of games it can be a LOT of storage space. For example my shader precache right now is 90gigs. Cause I play a bunch of different games so every game has to have it all saved.

Compiling at run time or during game play means those shaders only use ram for the duration of the game instead of physical storage space on top of ram during game play.

It doesn’t help that shaders have become bloated to the point that if you prefer compile them it ends up taking 10-30 mins to load a game.

Look at monster hunter rise my computer can load all the shaders in about 8 mins. My brothers takes half an hour.

Every time you turn the game on. Cause for ever reason it just forgets the shaders and doesn’t save them.

In a sense yes there are too many. When the question is around the industrial level and making a living off the work. There 110% are too many.

No industry can support an infinite number of creators. There is a finite number of customers to serve after all.

Occam’s razor. We know for a fact that websites are are stopping web crawlers to try and prevent the AI which is going to reduce the searchability in the search engine

We know that there are more websites being created now than in the past every single day

Combine these two things and it’s going to mean that search engines are less useful
