america and netherlands from the article but it does not define middle age to older. The paper it links to studies folks over 50 and does not seem to break down age groups. Not sure if over 50 is older and below is middle age or what but it would seem it would have to compare it to something else for people under 50. Is 50 middle age now? I swear way back there was a one day at a time episode that suggested at the time 35 would be middle age but I feel 40’s would be it now.
have already gone for it since I have been here and will continue to. I like the feedback I got on cholesterol medication. thats a good example because I don’t need technical info. I have a doctor and pharmacist. I just wanted to see what folks experiences were. I only got one or two real useful ones but hey man that is as good as your going to get from local friends and relatives.
There are some questions I just honestly would like a few opinions on and/or discussion around and I certainly prefer to do those here and here from members of the federation.
its hilarious how this party would tought state rights. only rights for things they can’t currently get themselves at the federal level at any particular time.
crap because I don’t like it. Hope it does not become the game to emulate for other companies.
I have some experience with hoarding to and like to do digital assets. I sometimes see things on digital decluttering and it always cracks me up. The whole point of digital to me is not to have to worry about that kind of stuff.
To the level of your ability. I say this because I certainly but up against my limitation and at some point you have to recognize someone with expertise and take their advice. So you can decide things based on what you know but when you don’t know things well enough you have to sorta meta decide. Medical is an obvious example. I will certainly do some internet research with my help and well being but when it comes to the yearly I have a discussion and listen to the advice of my doctor. I will decide if and how much of their advice to take but if im not taking their advice I should likely get another primary care as I obviously do not feel confident with their expertise. I may take into account what I think their biases are but I have to take into account what I think my own biases are as well. Im a pretty high functioning individual who has several degrees, pretty much liked school, and is used to learning new things regularly. There is no shame in recognizing and taking advice from someone who you think has better expertise than yourself. On the other hand some folks do just not even try and want any random person to just do their mental work. At the very least the person should look at what the decision is and evaluate their own capacities and have a reason why they want a particular someone to help them out.
mandatory gift giving should be eliminated. Giving a gift should be based on knowing someone and encountering something you absolutely know they would love and have the spare cash such that it does not put you out economically to pick it up. I think the problem is human nature though. Its very hard for someone to receive a gift without feeling they have to reciprocate. It really is easier to give than recieve in some ways.
In case people just read the headline the end result is it can’t 100% replace humans but the stats they give indicate they are pretty close and they learned some lessons that they are going to be using for improvements. They mention product damage but not cost. What surprised me was they were pretty close in rate to people but it mentioned people are much faster with smaller items and items at human level (not way low for bending or high that needs a ladder) ; while the robots did not vary as much with size or location. I could totally see them revamping human labor around this. Setting up for small items to be handled by humans when they are on shift and maybe having a role where a human responds to robots that can’t identify an item. They even mention maybe having robots do the high areas so humand don’t have to get on ladders (which sorta increases safety to). So I could see a robot management role which we have in a lot of automated setups. Humans to inspect for damage or quality, repair, or just intervene when needed.
Ugh. When I can’t solve something in a day the imposter syndrome starts breathing down my neck.
Yeah im one of those folks that can sleep anywhere and it does seem like some folks are easy sleepers and some not. My wife is not. I have to be careful about making noise if she is asleep as she will wake so easily. She has to get the dog to help to get me up.
I mean if Im having a laydown I just rest or nap. I don’t really think of it as staring into the void. I love naps or taking it a easy for a bit. Moreso if I can do it outside with nice weather or even in a chair near an open window. Closing my eyes and listening to the birds and other bits of nature. Granted various noises can make that more of a no go if the timing is not right. Evening is even better with stars and the moon. If you start looking at deep breathing and mediation and having a few minutes is like gold. All that being said I like suduko and its a nice thing to do throughout a day a few mins at a time. I think tastes may vary with suduko though. Crosswords to but I have to be a bit desperate as I find they are more about me learning about the puzzlemaker than language really.
I have never been into it but the very first ultimate fighter, back when it had few rules, had one and woa. He lost due to a suspicious thing where the entrance gate game open causing a reset but without it he 100% would have won. It was amazing as the other guy was not exactly small and got a full on kick on him. I mean as best your going to get with full force and the sumo shrugged it off like nothing and then he caught him with what seemed like a casual slap that winged him and you would have thought he was hit by a truck. gracie never faced him but I doubt he would ever have been able to get a lock on him. Wish he had competed the next year.
oh. ok that makes sense then.
funny thing is I like being in choruses but I consider the conductor to be the real muscician and im more the instrument. I prefer ones that use solfage as my music reading is pants (I know long and short and go up and down) and there needs to be someone in my section who is good as I can’t match pitch to the piano but I can to another voice.
thanks. I feel more confident now to give it a shot.
I get that but like it does not let me pick 940mx and the choices under laptop seem to be desktop choices. that made me think the choices are just about a card from the approximate era but im not sure.
Im by no means a musician or artist. Its toward the bottom of my natural abilities. Its incredible to me though and like magic. Which is how come I think I like fantasy stories / mythology with magic as music as it seems like such a natural way for magic to work.
I did the one for skills and maybe another one on my steamdeck. It was just dropping a file into a folder. Finding the folder though. ugh. that was the annoying part.
