I love Ted Lasso, but I actually have found about a dozen shows on AppleTV+. I love Severance, The Servant, Loot, Trying, Still Up, See, Foundation, The Morning Show, Physical, nature shows, documentaries, and still have shows on my list I haven’t gotten too.
About time. Apple has had this in their mail app for years.
Drive-in movies where you charge your car?
I’m sure corporate America is ready to charge you $100 to watch that movie too.
The Vergecast.
It’s fine to charge to 100. Just use a slow charger overnight. Heat is the real enemy. I always have an iPhone and Pixel. My 13 Pro Max is still at 100% battery health (at least it states that. Probably close to 99). I got it when it first came out. I use a ridiculously slow wireless charger. It takes like 3- 4 hours to charge which is perfect overnight. I only get 5-6 hours of sleep per night, so it works out great for me. I also never let it drop below 40% either. If I get close to that I slap it on the charger just enough to get to the overnight charge. That rarely happens.
Pretty close to what Donald Trump self reported…
Not where I live. My city and county use them almost exclusively. You end up loving them too. I can’t stand actual stoplights and stop signs now.
This guy does really great reviews with each beta. I recommend checking out some of his videos. https://youtube.com/@IDTR
No new features from beta 4.1 to 5. It’s all fixes under the hood. Are you referring to changes in Android 15 as a whole?
I’ve been on all the betas. It’s fine. There are still things I’d like to see resolved still, but it’s stable enough to use.
I work for the Federal Government and just got my job by applying to something else on Career Builder. After you submit a resume or application they give you the option to mass apply to jobs. I did that. I had no clue I had even applied for the job. I’ve now been working for them for 10 years and have had four promotions. I’m now on a leadership role. I never even meant to apply to it.
No major U.S. carrier gas used 2G for years. Well, at least Verizon and AT&T. Sprint did as well before merging with T-Mobile. That are shutting down 2G this year. So, not really a big deal.
I don’t entirely see how this is relevant to some people. For example, I don’t care what the recommendations are. I go into YouTube and immediately go to subscriptions and just watch what’s new. I realize that this isn’t what everyone does, but it works for me.
Technically, boomer is a synonym for old. Anyone who is part of the boomer generation was born at the latest in 1964 and as early as 1946. That, my friend, is old. Someone born in 1964 would be at least 59 at the youngest age and 77 on the older end.
I follow damn near every community on lemmy that I followed on reddit. I follow 97 communities on lemmy with all communities active and none with 0 posts. I left reddit immediately and haven’t looked back. All the news, whether political or tech related, I get from lemmy. I think people just haven’t found the right communities. You have to put in some time to find them since you may have 5 or 6 with the same name. But, once you do, you should be good to go.
What’s next? Hats? Shoes? The sky’s the limit.
