Are homeless people going to start mysteriously disappearing now
I’m not so sure. I check in on the hot mess that is Twitter from time to time and it looks to me like the advertisers are returning from the ads that I have seen. I think it comes down to how willing Musk is to burn money on when Twitter actually dies and I bet he can find friends of a certain type to sell equity too to keep the shit show going.
I think we have reached the point that those that are willing to hold their noses are staying and those that aren’t have gone and that’s your new user figures.
I’d assume they would provide a backup from before the announcement for the training.
Service could change at any point though. If new American owners are smart they are not going to break something that’s obviously working.
The end user won’t be aware anything happened. If a ban kicks in then they will start to notice issues when the app updates don’t occur.
Mac don’t stop supporting hardware on their prior OS’s?
Tay all over again. Except this time it will be training on apartheid billionaires midlife crisis
A shit pie ?
Blaze your code
I thought they were using the ml domain as they were cheap / free ? Or am I missing the joke?
I never got the argument that it’s hard to sign up to. I think the main issues are that people want content from media entities that may not be present or welcome - legacy media etc. This could be where threads.net fills the gap but then it sounds like they will be blocked from a lot of instances.
I have worked around it via press.coop but they don’t cover everything. I also follow more journalists directly than I did on Twitter. I don’t miss Twitter and find Mastodon more informative but I’m sure that’s because of the information I’m looking for.
Wonder if that memmy update will ever be released. Kinda wish the Apollo Dev would reworked his app for Lemmy.
You can choose a different icon in the app setting under the theme section.
So basically we’re pretty much back to paying for a TV package.
I guess it’s to placate mods in the short term whist they build out their own app. The average redditor is 🤷♀️ and moved across to the official app, so 3rd party app usage will be way down. Also means app Devs won’t bother to keep developing if it’s only a handful of people still using their app so the apps get killed off either way.
Can confirm it works for mods… at least for now
Paid today also 👍
Yeah but what about when you become a Billionaire you would get the tax cuts too. Just a matter of time 🤫
