Saint Monday is the tradition of absenteeism on a Monday.[where?] Saint Tuesday is the less common extension of this to a Tuesday.[1] The tradition of taking Monday off has been common among craft workers since at least the seventeenth century,[2] when the workweek ran from Monday to Saturday as had been the custom and expectation for centuries.

You are like whitewashed tombs, which look beautiful on the outside
Not applicable. I don’t think any of those people could be characterised as “beautiful on the outside.”

No Stupid Questions@lemmy.world•this 82 year old woman dressing like she was 40 or younger makes me think about how ridiculous I'll look like when and if I reach that age. Am I misguided?
20·9 months agoI learned a really valuable lesson in first grade. My friend Daniele had a really nice belt-buckle, but he was wearing it upside-down. I was like: Daniele, why is your belt-buckle upside-down? And he was like: so when I look down, I can turn it up and look at it.
Daniele was a pretty wise kid.
When he asks to see their code, they send him a single file.
But wat if you’re indoors and have limited room for maneuver?

A day that will live in infamy! But in a good way. A day that will live in famy!
dunno about the anxiety part. But the creativity part, I always assumed it was bc the “filter” that keeps ya down finally got sleepy, leaving you free to self-actualize. The specifics probably vary by individual.
