To be fair I think it is there as a backup for low temperature climates, the Lithium batteries wont charge at temps that low, but they still could have setup the lithium batteries as an emergency backup for all the 12v stuff.

to be fair, the documentation that came with products used to be alot better, Ive had plenty of “manuals” come with products now that just say how to start the device and follow a setup wizard.
But wouldn’t TRIM be the deleting he is requesting? Removing the charges would be setting all the bits in that block to the same value.
Cellular is usually how the vehicle provides Wi-Fi, it is effectively just a cell hotspot like you would get from a ohone carrier, but tied into the vehicle. So I think that would be the common way they get the data out.
Mainly the snap client doesnt let you configure a secondary source, and ubuntu’s repo doesn’t have a good track record of not providing malware.

No, because words that use repetition of the same series of letters requires a delay between each letter input
My flip phone just let me press arrow right to skip the delay for repeat buttons.
That’s the thing that gets me where I live, the cops have reserved parking spots but they still choose the fire lane, I guess crossing the traffic lane to the building is a line they wont cross.
This is true, but for idtech 3 and 4 games there were official Linux binaries, but they arent distributed by platforms like steam, even though they already ship Linux versions of other games. Quake 4 or Doom 3 was I think the last of the official Linux binaries from Id.
Exactly, your program using the minimum of RAM allows more for other programs to run and gives more memory for the OS to cache literally anything that isnt their web app, likely the filesystem, and that is a much better use of the RAM then letting electron or some such eat it all.
I remember under pulse I would have issues of programs like discord and my headset breaking the connection over the switch between A2DP and HFP or HSP or whatever the mic mode was. Havent had any issues since pipewire came along and supposedly took over handling that, but I havent used a Bluetooth device with a mic to test with since, so I’m just quoting hearsay that pipewire fixed that.
A good portion of this though is the CUDA stranglehold nvidia has. Good luck getting a neural net accelerated on OpenCL or Vulkan Compute.
When (according to about:unloads) my average firefox tab is 70-230MB depending on what it is and how old the tab is (youtube tabs for example bloat up the longer they are open), a chat app using over 350 is a pretty big deal
just checked, my firefox is using 4.5gb of RAM, while telegram is using 2.3, while minimized to the system tray, granted Telegram doesnt use electron, but this is a trend across lots of programs and Electron is a big enough offender I avoid apps using it. When I get off shift I can launch discord and check it too, but it is usually bad enough I close it entirely when not in use
