I’m just here to say that bards are awesome.
If you go with Bard, eloquence is the power build, but Valor might be more syngergistic if you still want to get in melee. You get medium armor proficiency, shields, all the spell casting goodness of bard, plus extra attack at level 6.
This strategy is only okay until you reach act 3, and then it gets crazy powerful with all the items that bump your spell save DC up.
I feel like conversatives just learn first principals and stop there. It’s kinda sad. The FCC, FTC, etc exist in order to keep our markets fair and consumer friendly.
This weird, free-trade utopia that they dream about does not exist, has never existed, and cannot exist. Instead when you remove all the regulation, you get anarchy like we see today in many 3rd world countries.
I would love to see our government get more efficient and targetted with its regulation, but to simply argue against it is extremely naive.

That’s the ideal scenario, but really, camp supplies are so abundant in this game that it just doesn’t play out that way.

I also saw that Patch 3 comes out the next day.
So does that mean we get the patch early? Or do we get the Mac version and then a new patch the next day? Or worse, is the Mac a patch behind the PC version?

I think a trap a lot of players fall into in D&D is that in-combat healing is bad. Out of combat, sure, but during combat the better play 99% of the time is to do damage to the enemies, not heal your party.
Start thinking about how you can do damage with Clerics and you’ll start to see the possibilities.

I’ve heard land druids are good but I’ve had a hard time making one work in my party. It seems like sleet storm is always saved against. Any tips?
Alert is also a very powerful feat (more powerful than 5e because in 5e initiative rolls are a d20). Going first means that you can cast your bard spells before the enemy has a chance to do anything, potentially robbing multiple enemies of their turns.
Be a swords bard, take sharpshooter at level 4, find two hand crossbows, and just pew-pew everything with 3 shots per turn (flourish allows to you to target the same target with your multi-attack, and you get an offhand attack for 3 attacks) that have +10 damage on each of them. And you get to enjoy all those nice bard spells and skills on top!
