You could try moving to a different instance. Something off the 3-10 largest instances should be fine. Your hot feed is populated based on the instances interaction with other instances’ interaction iirc

All kinds of things have started straining with just how much load lemmy world is taking on. The less popular instances seem quite alright, and I’m using jerboa too. What’s your version?

Dumb question, but will this also be affecting those on firefox or is this a chromium issue?
