This might not be feasible if you’re in the states but if you have access to good healthcare, go to an allergist and get the shots! I’ve always had cats and been allergic to them , I survived with an inhaler and prescription pills. Since I finished my shots last year I’ve felt 100x better. The only time I need my pills now for cats is when I visit my mom who has 5 of them, with one long haired orange boi that just needs to sit on your head.

Can I do the lobbying thing to get a nice human rights or climate law passed or is 100M still too poor for that

I would spend all 100M to get ads put up all over the country of people who have wronged me and my loved ones. They’ll just be like really awful pictures of them with really petty captions like “doesn’t help carry suitcases”, “laughed at a disabled person”, “sneezed too loud that one time”. As a Canadian I’m sorry for the Americans but I’m also fucking terrified for what this means for us. We’re already seeing it bleed (pun intended) into our borders and I don’t think I could handle if our politics went further that way. This is gonna affect a whole lot more than Americans.

Yes there are so many indigenous cultures (certainly every one I’ve learned about in Canada) that are literally about working together with the earth and in balance with the earth. Steve Irwin was a wonderful person but imagine all the wiped out or nearly wiped out cultures where this was or continues to be literally their way of existing in the world, and they were dismissed for so long as “savages” for their relationship with nature.
