This highlights how deep the BS surrounding Musk has burrowed into the media scape. They invariably refer to his companies as “Elon Musks Tesla” or “Elon Musks Twitter” and so on. Where other billionaire’s (for the most part) avoid the limelight and their companies stand seperate to their idiotic personal choices.
I like how you still call it a tweet. I hope tweet, tweeting and twitter remain the lexicon for X forever.
111·1 year agoBig oil, coal and gas via sympathetic media (read greedy). They have thrown money and pundits at it for so long, not sure they could stop even if they wanted to.
By this point though you’d think they’d pack it up, as blind Freddy can see the writing is on the wall. But I watched FOX roll out Steve Milloy to say the Canadian wildfire smoke was no threat to humans a couple of weeks back. Steve Milloy has been called out as a climate denier since the '90s yet they still use him.

There are many more of them, it’s fun playing spot the denier disguised as an expert in the media but ultimately it is sole destroying knowing how far they have infiltrated and destroyed legitimate science and the public’s perception.

A really good example of when not to use an algorithm but it is forced upon the users is Facebook Marketplace. Who wants to see suggested items in a competive secondhand buying market??? It’s a first in best dressed environment. Shows how out of touch with reality FB Devs are.
