Still Baldur’s Gate 3. I don’t know if I commented last week but I finished my first play through (chaotic neutral). Was really fun and already started 2 other runs 👀, one githyanki run with custom Tav, Lae’zel and the gith hireling and a lawful good run with my half-orc monk oc.

It does kinda suck being defederated from big instances like lemmy.ml because there are big communities there, but at the other end it’s nice to have alternatives on different instances. For example, I can’t view !programmerhumor@lemmy.ml but I can access !programmer_humor@programming.dev.

We have both happen, sometimes combined or scan with phone. I’ve seen some of the American systems, with sensors and weights and speakers (with some voice lines), those are creepy to me.

Still playing BG3! It’s really fun but the combat can be quite challenging, even when playing on the easiest mode with a modded party of 6 and infinite money. There are just so many things I have to keep in mind… Or perhaps my build just sucks lol

My android does that too, but some apps ignore it and it’s extremely annoying, especially when lying in bed (looking at you, Sleep for Android)

Probably some more but I forgot. My case fans are really loud though when I keep my pc on at night to keep running the JF server for my users. Perhaps I should have bought a P600S case with the dampening foam. Looking into buying a Pi 4 this year to run services on instead of my main rig.

Really am enjoying using FOSS software, even though it can be a little limiting in some ways. AAAAXY is a really fun game btw!

Baldur’s Gate 3.

Just picked it up, never played other cRPGs or D&D but I’m really enjoying it! Not doing a lot of quests yet but just exploring. Combat is quite difficult to understand sometimes because it has so many rules I’m not used too, but I’d like to think I’m learning slowly.

The rest and spell slot mechanic is also quite interesting, as it forces me to not pick too many fights before taking a long rest. This is totally new to me 😅

For anyone interesting I’m playing as a human conjuration wizard and my party is Astarion (arcane trickster), Shadowheart and Lae’zel (battle master).

No, I didn’t touch the boxes, was to scared to disturb them 😅 Some were sealed in plastic too, just thought it looked really cool as decoration in a quite old timey looking hotel.

I have to admit that picking up Cyberpunk 2077 when you’ve never played an realistic game before is really an experience. Although I am only running a 6600XT, the graphics still blew my mind

But no, I don’t need to have ultra ray tracing water reflection mirror image boob sweat realism either.

Slay the Princess. Just discovered it, 100% it already. I love it so much. The soundtrack, the art, the plot, the voice acting, it’s just so awesome. I don’t normally like horror VNs (looking at you, ddlc!) but this one is less shock horror and more actual depth to it. You can feel the love put into the game. Sorry if this sounds too much like an ad, just hyperfixating a little :)

Oh and I think the snipers in the current Fortnite season are wayyy to annoying.

This kind of stuff makes me sad, in a way. Knowing there are people with psychological degrees whose job it is to ““indoctrinate”” people with marketing and advertisements to minmax profits.

Best:

• Cyberpunk 2077 (1.6) My first open world AAA game, I really enjoyed it and even though I was a total noob the gunplay and missions were very doable. The lore in everything made the immersion so deep too. Great soundtrack too!

• Slay The Princess I really liked the writing and art. It really feels like a full experience, the voice acting is on point too (I loved The Voice Of The Smitten!!)

• Deltarune (chapter 2) I loved Chapter 1 and Undertale, and this new chapter did not disappoint either. Didn’t had the time to play it yet until now

Worst:

• Warzone 2.0 Made me realise those more realistic shooters weren’t for me at all. Had only played more cartoonish shooters before (Fortnite, Valorant etc)

• Hitman 3 Hitman is on its own really fun, but I just couldn’t seem to find the solutions. I got stuck at the Bangkok mission.

If they get BBB they will have a good number in the senate though
