My local store had numerous room temp superconductors right next to the perpetual motion machines.
I’m not sure how reliable eBay in Europe is, but I would suggest finding one available from a highly rated seller on eBay.
Yeah I have the feeling a lot of them are as bad or in some cases worse than bicycles upfitted with gas engines.

Is there something tangible? Slack’s logo is a symbol that suggests clockwise rotation while the version of the swastika that the Nazis used is a symbol that suggests counterclockwise rotation.
Especially given that the Nazis appropriated one version of a symbol that had many other versions/uses/meanings in different cultures, do we really need to equate every symbol or logo that has remote similarities to the swastika with Nazism?
Diminishing returns!
I’m curious to see how streaming services are going to be affected by the strikes. Theoretically down the road they’ll reach a point for a while where they have very little new content to release and will be fighting each other for the rights to existing content.
Same. I cancelled my Netflix a couple years ago and haven’t looked back. They don’t have a lot of content that I’m interested in watching anymore, and when they do it’s easy to find elsewhere. I host my own Plex server now which makes it even more of a seamless transition.
I like this question, although I don’t think it could work. Someone who campaigns really well, does not necessarily mean they will fulfill their office well. It also penalizes when there are two good candidates running against each other.
I could see it being more viable if the upper term limit is still along the lines of what we have today. Perhaps a presidential candidate winning an election by landslide could get a maximum term of 8 years, whereas someone just barely winning would have a shortened term of 1-2 years. I would definitely still be concerned about the negative ramifications of potentially more and more dirty campaigning to try and capture the highest portion of votes that others have mentioned.
Are they truly able though? I’ll readily admit I’m not very knowledgeable on this, but radio towers have a limited range, right? Satellites have the ability to provide internet and communications to truly remote areas where it may be logistically challenging or impractical to build radio towers.
Lisa Laporte tweeted about it here: https://twitter.com/lisadlaporte/status/1673037899045171206
In a nutshell, it seems like the show got cut because viewership had drastically declined and wasn’t worth continuing to produce. If there’s additional drama behind the scenes, I haven’t heard any indication of it yet.
Honestly I’m kind of surprised the twit network is still around at all. Their overall product has seemed really dated to me for a long time and it seems like the podcast advertising realm is a real shit show right now.
TIL what a Cane Corso is.
Honestly, after setting wefwef to compact view and dark mode and spending a few days using it to get used to where everything is, I’m starting to really like it. Easy to digest while browsing and the swipe actions to vote/reply/mark as read work really well once you get used to it.
Sure thing, enjoy your Pixel!
Yeah! Most of the features surround calling and camera. Call screening and the Direct My Call features are excellent, the former has the caller state who they are and what they’re calling about which you can see visually on your phone screen while the call is still ringing. I generally don’t answer calls from unrecognized numbers so it can be helpful to see if a call is actually important. Direct My Call is will visually show you what’s happening when you’re navigating a call menu (press 1 for x, press 2 for y, etc) it will list out the options so you can read them which is really helpful.
For camera all photos are taken as motion photos and it will automatically select what it thinks is the best photo of the bunch, but gives you the option to tweak which frame. Recently they released something where you can have it erase people or objects in the background of your photos.
That’s just a few examples, but there are a lot of great features that are Pixel specific that I really love. Android Authority also has this article which explains it more in depth: https://www.androidauthority.com/best-pixel-features-explained-3217987/
It would take something truly revolutionary to move me away from the Pixel. I had the original Pixel and after that went through a couple different non-Pixel phones and the whole time I hated the experience. Google’s extra features that you get with Pixels have become essential to me.
I’ve had the Pixel 5 for almost 3 years now, I just replaced the battery in it and I plan on keeping this phone for at least another couple years. It has everything I need on the hardware front, and is still getting new features and updates.
Edit: a word
Google’s messaging app actually has a desktop browser based client that you can use to send messages from your computer. So that might actually be a good solution for you. I use it regularly and have no complaints about either the phone app or the web app.
