It depends on how inquisitive your players are. I had an NPC trick them into a heist from an orphanage, but they never investigated the building, or questioned how organized everything was, and once they were paid at the end they never questioned anything and moved on
As a software developer, it is a known best practice when you are using external software to use a specific version. Never use “latest” except in testing and development. Once it’s ready you pin it to a version ( which can be the latest version, just make sure to actually specify that version id). Then again I’ve never set up an *arr stack before
Back up whatever data you want physically on your computer before doing anything. While still using your Mac os, take an external drive you are okay to wipe clean, then reformat it to an .ExFat file type (so both computers can read the drive easily)
I haven’t experimented too much with different distros, but I would say Ubuntu has a Macintosh feel to it to me. Linux mint is what I use for my gaming PC, and it works fine, but between Ubuntu’s and Mint’s terminals, I like Ubuntu’s way more. It’s a bit pedantic, but I just prefer it that way
During the COVID lockdowns, my dog was able to pick up the words I use when I end a zoom meeting. He still knows them today and will run into my room with a toy

There are definitely pockets of reddit that don’t have their content flooded with bots, but they are the exception in today’s day and age. I especially enjoy the college football subreddit, as there still isn’t quite something similar on lemmy
I read through the non paywalled link and I couldn’t find any info on if this analysis adjusts for inflation or not. 17 times larger (before inflation possibly) seems so ripe for cherry picked data points in the name of sensationalism, that I wanted to confirm this one idea, and I didn’t. I’m playing through hollow Knight for the first time! I have always enjoyed Metroid and most of Castlevania, and with the silk song hype I felt it was time. I have no idea how far along I am, I don’t suspect very far based on how full my inventory screen is. And I’m using the strategy of “re explore old areas once you learn a new move”, which is working okay, but I’m getting a little annoyed by how much back tracking I’m doing. I want to find the map for the jellyfish area, but I can’t get past this black barrier.
There are fun optional platforming areas that remind me of Celeste. Now if I only I had unlimited tries like she did. And the boss battles are challenging and punishing in a way that reminds me of elden ring - everyone has a pattern, and they will hurt you if you are too greedy with your attacks.
Overall I recommend it if you enjoy Metroidvanias
To me, that looks like a baritone with rotary valves as opposed to piston type valves. It seems like the right size, and the piping is cylindrical, as opposed to conical.

I don’t have an answer to this question, but I will provide my anecdote.
I have a smallish bin inside for all of my recycling. I rinse out of my bottles and cans in water so that the bin doesn’t get stinky. I’m not required to in my area, I just don’t like the smell of stale beer or old beans lurking next to my door.
My process is to just leave any bottles/cans/drinks that are recyclable next to my sink and when I do the dishes, I rinse them all out at the end and put them in the drying rack. the next morning they go to the inside bin. When the inside bin is full, I move that to the outside bin. Not too much effort, and my house smells (relatively) good
While I live in an area that doesn’t have too big a problem with bee populations, I’m excited for my friends who have to manually pollinate their plants and trees by hand
This puts into words what I’ve been feeling more and more over the years. I felt that Reddit had developed some sort of language all its own (thanks for the gold kind stranger, happy cakeday, etc), that felt off to me. On top of that, the sensationalism, and the ever increasing political echo chambers, and then closing the API access to force everyone onto their own app out the final nail in the coffin for me. I’m not off reddit entirely, but I’ve gone read only and only on a computer. Lemmy seems more organic, and genuine to me
My favorite indie game on switch is definitely golf story. It’s a gold based RPG with a very silly story, and fun 2-d golf games

My guess, as a cloud developer, there may be a bottleneck at their authentication, or session management. Your web browser has probably been signed in for a while. I’m guessing your app hasn’t been able to get past that point, and is stuck in the bottleneck
