I’m a car guy and far from manly. I drive a loud annoying stick shift because it’s fun and life is too short to be bored while driving.
I fucking love civ 6 and I’ll fight anyone who tries to tell me it’s bad. I tried playing 5 as my first civ game around the time it came out but I don’t think I had the attention span for it and I never got into it. Got 6 as part of a humble bundle thing and didn’t touch it for years, randomly decided to give it a go and gyatdamn.
This then led to bluff glancing at the walls before betting.
God, I love it when things like this start to develop when playing games with friends. Especially when it’s a newer player, or maybe even the quiet person that starts doing it - the first time you catch on to someone pulling a trick like this is the best possible feeling of, “you son of a bitch!”
If you forget what happened in Fortnite you should be able to check your replays
Sounds like I’m exclaiming that something is hot, then clarifying that it was a potato.
Choose freedom.
Be a leader.
Dis u?
People generally don’t not “choose” freedom. We didn’t wake up one morning and say, y’know, I feel like giving away all of my personal data to the government. Telling people whom you’ve got no idea of their struggles to “be a leader” from your keyboard isn’t constructive. It’s noise at best, and condescending at worst. But you do you.
No, but you came in and started doing it anyways, lol. Just wanted to see if there was any substance behind your “do better” message.
So no real tangible advice then, right? Just telling people on the Internet they’re not doing enough? Got it, thanks
So again, why pick? Choose freedom.
Ok, I’ve chosen freedom. Now what happens
Holy crap, I’ve been here almost a year. Well I was using kbin at first but still.
I’ve switched to Firefox but there’s definitely a few things that irritate me about it.
First thing is when I boot up my computer, launch Firefox, it launches long enough for me to click a bookmark then closes to perform an update. And then doesn’t automatically reopen…
I also have it set to not “remember” my tabs after closing. Yet when I launch Firefox for the first time after rebooting or closing ally tabs, it gives me a “hmm… we’re having a hard time finding your previous session” message. Uh, yeah, I told you not to look for it… can I just have the regular “new tab” page?
It also might just be because I’m used to chrome, but I feel the mobile app is severely lacking. I hate that I can’t access my bookmarks directly from the new tab page, and that the tablet version doesn’t show you your bookmark bar. The synchronization between mobile and desktop isn’t great either, I’ll have a very long specific search query that I’ve used multiple times on my phone, yet it doesn’t offer it for auto-complete on desktop, I have to search the entire term again or go digging through my history. When you’re searching long model numbers and the like, this is incredibly frustrating.
Finally, and I don’t know if this is a Firefox issue, but there’s some memory leak that occurs when viewing a webcam stream from my raspberry pi that only has happened in Firefox. The first time I noticed it happening my PC slowed to a crawl, when task manager finally opened Firefox was taking 23GB of RAM. So I have to use chrome to keep that steam open for more than a few minutes at a time.
I swear, y’all will find anything to complain about Windows, lol. Not that it isn’t sometimes justified.
“Uh Mr Substitute can I use my headphones in class”
“Does your teacher normally let you use headphones?”
“Uh yeah”
“Then go ahead”
Alright, bow out if you must.
Cringe, and implies you’re trying to win an argument rather than have a conversation.
Also, I’m sorry, but you’re totally wrong. I know what kind of intersection you’re talking about, this definitely is not it. Maybe it’s a regional thing, but XKCD is an American webcomic, these intersections are all over the place and you definitely are not supposed to stop in them.
This is the kind of intersection you’re talking about. You’ll notice that the center area where the car turns is much longer than the area in the original post, in addition to having clear lane indications.
If someone were to stop in the intersection in the OP, they would have to be stopped at an awkward angle not parallel to either lane, and if someone were to follow them into the intersection, the second person would have nowhere to go.
Long story short, there’s two different kinds of intersections being discussed here, regardless of whether or not you acknowledge it or which one you believe is being depicted. One of them makes the comic make sense, while the other does not. Which one do you think the artist intended to draw?
I think you’re describing me trying to do 75% of my interests/ hobbies.
Don’t let @Grayox@lemmy.ml hear you saying that. He may not like you speaking ill on his God.
Usually when I get into a relationship with someone and their kids have had vibes I immediately start abusing them, like no questions asked
AAAOOOOOOH! THAT’S GOOD ENOUGH TO GET TATTED ON MY BACK BROTHER
Yeh, but unless I uproot my life and move to a different country, I’m stuck doing it, so I can either bitch and moan about how much I hate it, or have the best time I can doing it 🤷🏾♂️
