Some communities have downvoting disabled, but as an alternative to downvoting, you can also just not upvote the comment or report it if it actually breaks rules. I don’t think being rude in the comments is against the rules, but it isn’t nice, so I usually just ignore those comments.

The flaw to this argument is that your dick and balls can get sweaty and gross in there. And when you touch it, your hands can get gross too. Not to mention that your hands can get gross just by walking around and touching things in society. And the bathroom stop is meant to be a bio-break that enforces washing all the germs from your hands from walking around in society.

Maybe it’s lazy, but I always ask for people to post things in the comments that are in the article, so I don’t have to read the article.

It was good of you for trying. I did almost the same thing, except once I had an account on my little server, I started finding interesting people right away on the explore tab of the app. I followed them, and followed the people they boosted, and generally had a great experience. It sounds like it just isn’t for everyone and that’s ok. It will just keep growing slowly on its own.
