What UI decisions? My Firefox looks just fine. Also don’t use Ghostery or Privcy Badger, Firefox on strict mode with uBlock Origin is more than enough for most folks. If it’s not enough for you though, check out Cromite or Mull browsers.

I’ve had my account for about 2 years. During that time I’ve collected 14 pages of emails, each page has 50 emails and some are even stacked emails from the same sender. All of this takes up about 32MB of said 1GB so space in the free tier is definitely not an issue for just emails haha.

My recommendation is to stay away from the auth services that are account based such as ente or bitwarden UNLESS you have a 2nd method of authentication such as a yubikey. Why? Because you obviously can’t store, for example, your bitwarden 2FA code in your bitwarden vault. Same with ente. That’s why on android I use Authenticator Pro, as it isn’t account based and has great backup options, such as backing up to cloud and file encryption. Not sure what an equivalent would be on iOS but I’d definitely want to find out! Bonus points if it’s available on both iOS and Android.

Due to the size constraints, there’s not much to recommend (I am currently typing this on an iphone 7 lols). Since you mentioned GrapheneOS, which can only be installed on Pixel devices, I’d recommend the Pixel 7a. It’s definitely bigger than an iPhone 7, but it is the newest Pixel device. To get a phone that’s smaller that supports Graphene, I’d have to recommend a Pixel 5a instead. It’s older but closer to the size you wish for. Pick your poison.

You’re correct but you can still use it without ever attaching an account to it, which is preferrable.

Don’t ditch your pixel, as you can replace the Stock Android on your phone with GrapheneOS instead. It’s still android but more secure. Google Auth is probably one of the easiest to ditch. For something like Authy or Authenticator Pro, although you won’t have to do that. Google’s authenticator is good enough really, even from the privacy side of things. Maps and YouTube though? Those are indeed tough to leave behind.
