I have my doubts because or the normal food bit of that email.

There were a few emails from people asking epstein for some of his jerky. Annoyed replies saying that the supply of jerky given them should have lasted longer. Then an email from Maxwell saying something to the effect of “there will be no more jerky for a while, Mr. Epstein has decided to return to normal food.”
I do not know in what other context that could have possibly been other than cannibalism.
Civility is what is gained. I work for you, I drive up your net value and I promise not to firebomb your property. In return you give me enough money to survive. They’re not holding up their end of the bargain…
Corporations have this hilarious way of delegating the onus to the customer. “It is EVERYONES responsibility to recycle” - makes items out of non-recycleables. “If you can’t afford to tip, you can’t afford to eat out.” -lobbies to keep minimum wages low.

It never affects my enjoyment of a thing. But if I’m already questioning whether or not I want to continue, that rating makes a difference.
Absolutely should not tell people that fire is its weakness, and damaging data centers hurts insurance companies more because of equipment replacements, and rebuilding structures costs + manpower and whatnot.

94·3 months agoDespite it being AI, I really don’t have much of a problem with implementation like this. It sounds like the rest of the game is made by humans. Having a clippy-type companion that offers tips for your class or forward progress tips based on previous progress, the idea has potential. AI has the potential to be extremely helpful in guidance. The issues come from building the infrastructure using AI. We shouldn’t be using it to create, but to enhance what has already been created. AI is a tool, not a solution.

2·3 months agoRight, but AI in itself is not bad. Instances of it are bad because it does certain tasks poorly, and when we don’t know our topics well enough, we can’t spot its errors. You don’t learn when you expect your shortcut to do the work. And worse, you can’t error check if you can’t do yourself, what you’re asking it to do.

6·3 months agoThe issue is not and has never been “AI bad.” The issue is that everyone is trying to use it as a replacement for human generated content and human critical thinking. If you don’t know how to math, how could you possibly know it’s wrong when a calculator tells you 1+1=11?
