Does anyone else get a weird “uncanny valley” vibe from AI art/voice/music?
I don’t know how else to describe it. Especially the visual art. I fucking hate this word so much, but it’s a bit “ick”
I hate AI /fake voice /fake narration with a passion
it sounds dead , there is no mind, no feeling, no hesitations, no mistakes , the pace is always the same, no rests for minds to take in a point
talking is a human performance
I think the oven is on its way out.
Fortunately I still have the toaster oven if the worst comes to the worst. And I could always get an air fryer.I really dislike sticky stickers on make up. Can never get that stuff off.

I liked superstore, but I loved Rostered on. Basically Australian superstore, although a little closer to superwog or housos than the good place (which for some reason is the vibe I picked up from superstore)
Disheveled man with a hole in each hand came in asking for a job, said he’s a carpenter by trade. Told him if he gets along with the piranhas he gets the job. He said he used to hang out with fishermen a lot. Will see if he lasts.
Also has a bit of history with providing fish dinners for 5,000 people from a very low baseline. If I was the piranhas, I think I’d be a bit worried. Keep an eye on him.
He got himself and the humanoids very drunk. Don’t know where he got all that wine from. They are now happily asleep at the back. The piranhas look fine for now.
That’s reassuring.

Freezing in the bedroom and I had some paper to burn, so I got up and lit a fire. The cats are very happy campers.
Thinking about some hot cross buns.Friday already? I haven’t been able to really do anything since Monday so have been wiped out for a whole week. The previous one was brutal. Haven’t been able to go out looking for the ginger ninja as I’ve just been managing myself and my cat. When I’m back on my feet I’ll try to do the occasional sweep.
I’ve given the pudding the Nexgard and will shove the balls of yarn and contents of the mending basket into sealed space bags so any fleas will die in there.
